The description of Google Play Newsstand

In the world of digital press we have access to both online and print media. Staying up to date with what is going on in the world in general and in our fields of interests in particular we have to go through a lot of material online and offline. This daily or weekly dose of information is delivered to us by countless magazines, press outlets, blogs, and news agencies in various forms from audios, videos to written articles on their websites. Visiting each website; reading, watching or listening to the information of our interests is a time consuming activity. Then why not look for a way to get all this at one place at the same time?

Google Play Newsstand app for your Android device or phone is here to make this possible for you.  It is a newsreader that enables you to view both premium and free information of your choice from news websites, to magazines at a single place. The app makes use of Material Design which integrates larger images, contextual title headers, and smoother transitions and animations to the app properties.

The app allows you to swipe between the topic horizontally using your Android phone or device as well as vertically to get more information as you read down or go through the data. This gives you easy access and maneuverability when the app is running on the device screen.  The layout of the article is just perfect for reading news articles on the devices.

Moreover, you can instantly translate the articles from or to English into many languages from Spanish to Hindi using the translation option from the app. If you come across an interesting article, but time is not allowing you to read it now, then with a single tap save the article for offline reading, at your leisure.

Read Now option on the Google Play Newsstand is the Highlights portion of the app where you will find the most important or most read from the leaders in the world of News or magazines by default to which you can add the publishers of your choice, with time Google will adjust the information displayed according to your interests.

Articles on the app are displayed in the form of rectangles containing an image, name of the publication, and date and time of post with a topic tag that represents the group to which the information belongs such as, business or sports.

My Library option in the app is there for you to add content to the News, Topics and Magazine sections where you can add articles from paper and magazine publishers from a diverse section from travel to fashion. All magazines available on the app provide 30 days free trial with different sources providing more or less than 30 days such as The New York Times give 60 day free trial on the app. You can view articles on the app with a message at the bottom showing you the remaining number of articles provided for free by the publisher for the month.

With Bookmark option on the Google Play Newsstand app bookmark your favorite articles for later reading. That means quick access to content of your interest once you have bookmarked is just a tap away. The app supports RSS Feeds which can be added by copying the feed URL and pasting in the app’s search box.

With such cool features find material of interest for reading from education to cuisine and many more both offline and online at any time by using Google Play Newsstand on your Android run device.
