Table of Contents
Step 1: Download Files
First of all, you need to download the PUBG APK & OBB file from here. You can either use your mobile phone or the computer to download the files. If you have used your computer, transfer the files to your mobile using data cable or some sort of other medium like Bluetooth etc.
Step 2: Install APK
After downloading and storing the APK and OBB files in your mobile, now first install the APK file. If you face errors, ensure that you have allowed Unknown Sources in your device’s security settings.
To install the APK file, simply open the PUBG Mobile APK file on your Android device. You will be prompted to install the game. Follow the on-screen instructions and the game will be installed on your device within a few seconds.
Step 3: Copy OBB Data File
From the download page that we linked above, you will download the PUBG OBB file as well in addition to the normal APK file. Now first rename the OBB file like this:
main.13900.com.tencent.ig.obb
You should replace 13900 with the current version code of the game
After renaming the file, now move it to /Android/obb/com.tencent.ig/ directory. If com.tencent.ig directory isn’t present in /Android/obb/ path, you need to create it first and then move the OBB file to that directory.
That’s it. Now launch the game. You should be able to play the game on your Android device right away. We hope that this guide was simple enough.
