Along with just standard jumps the player can now perform flat spins and barrel rolls, by hitting the ramps and colliding into curved ramps. All of these special stunt performances earn the player a nitro boost. As the name implies, the longer the car is in the air during the jump, the more nitro boosts are earned. Also, this game is totally hitting it with traffic rules, if the player hits a civilian car, or a lamppost or barriers across the road, they all earn him extra nitro boosts. 

The main function of a nitro boost is that when it is hit, the car accelerates even more and the player gets to enjoy a really fast ride until he applies the brakes, crashed or the nitro boost finishes. 

The game is played in seasons and not all the seasons are open. The player has to earn their way inside a season of purchase a season unlock from the in-app store.
